Subscription & Billing

What's included with my subscription?

Your subscription unlocks all premium content, activities, and features available in the app, plus everything new we add in future updates, including seasonal collections. There are no additional in-app purchases.

Why is the app subscription-based?

A subscription lets us regularly add new content, activities, and seasonal collections while keeping the app completely free of ads and additional in-app purchases. It also supports the ongoing development and improvement of the app.

Is there a free trial?

Yes! We offer a 7-day free trial with our yearly plan. You can explore the app free for 7 days, and unless you cancel beforehand, it automatically continues as a yearly subscription. You can cancel any time during the trial to avoid being charged.

How often do you add new content?

We add new content every month, including fresh activities and seasonal collections. Your subscription gives you access to all of it as soon as it's available.

Will my subscription renew automatically?

Yes. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it beforehand. If you switch between monthly and yearly plans, your subscription is updated according to your app store's subscription policies.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store subscription settings. Once canceled, your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period.

What happens if I cancel my subscription?

You'll keep access to all subscription content until your current billing period ends. After that, subscription-only content will be locked. Anything your child has already created stays visible, but you'll need an active subscription to open or continue editing it. Any files you've already downloaded remain yours to keep.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled directly by the App Store, since that's where your purchase is processed. You can request one through Apple's standard process at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you run into any trouble, email us at [email protected] and we'll do our best to help.

How is my payment information handled?

All payments are processed securely by the App Store. We never see or store your card or payment details. Only the App Store has that information.

Can I use my subscription on multiple devices?

Yes. You can restore your subscription on any supported device using the same app store account. Family Sharing is also supported if it's enabled for your family. Please note that your child's saved creations don't automatically sync between devices.

How do I restore my purchases?

If you've already purchased a subscription, you can restore it at any time using the Restore Purchases button in the app. Make sure you're signed in with the same app store account used to make the original purchase.

Safety & Privacy

Is the app safe for young children?

Yes. The app is designed specifically for children ages 2-5, encouraging creativity, learning, and fine motor skill development. It contains no chat, social features, or user accounts.

Do I need to create an account?

No. There are no accounts, logins, or sign-ups. Your child can start right away, and your subscription is simply tied to your App Store account, with nothing extra to create or remember.

Does the app contain advertisements?

No. The app is completely free of advertisements, so children can play without interruptions or distractions.

Can my child make purchases accidentally?

No. Subscription purchases and external links are protected by a Parents Gate to help prevent accidental access by children. Any purchase also requires your device's standard app store authentication.

Does the app collect personal information?

No. We don't collect personal information, create user accounts, display advertisements, or track your child's activity. Your child's creations are stored only on your device.

Are you COPPA and GDPR compliant?

Yes. We're committed to children's privacy and built the app to comply with regulations like COPPA and GDPR-K. We don't collect personal information, show ads, or track your child.

How do I delete my child's data?

There's nothing to request. We don't store your child's data on any server. Everything, including their creations, stays only on your device. To remove it, simply delete the app, or clear the saved files from within the app's settings. (Subscription records are held by the App Store, not by us.)

Using the App

What devices is the app available on?

Kids Coloring 2+ is available on iPhone and iPad. It works great on both, and looks especially good on a tablet’s larger screen.

Can my child use the app without an internet connection?

Yes. Once the app is installed, all activities work completely offline. An internet connection is only needed for purchasing or restoring subscriptions and downloading future updates.

What age is the app designed for?

The app is designed for children ages 2-5. It encourages creativity, learning, and fine motor skills through simple, engaging activities.

Can I transfer my child's creations to another device?

Your child's creations are stored locally on the device. While you can restore your subscription on another device, saved creations don't automatically transfer.

Can multiple children use the app?

Yes. Siblings can enjoy the app together using the same subscription. Note that each activity stores a single saved result, so if more than one child works on the same one, the latest version replaces the previous one.
